    Happy February, Happy Valentines Day…

Do you feel all the love in the air? This season of love themed with the pink/red hues of color and candy heart shapes is one of my favorites. I feel like we should celebrate love the whole month long not just on the week of the 14th.

Readers, you may have noticed I have been absent for a bit. I was discovering a new writing platform for which to bring to you my blogs. The one prior I was using increased in cost and truly wasn’t really was not what I needed anymore. It worked well for the year, but sometimes you just need to switch services to better met your needs. I am saddened as my past blogs were untransferable. I could have used an RSS button to take you to the page, but that is another click for my readers and who wants to read old news anyways. It’s 2025 after all so maybe I needed to leave those words in the archives…

Neil has turned 17 months old this month. I am not quite sure how that is even possible. He is all over the place running and babbling away. He is a talker and I am positive he comes by that by yours truly. Every day he is surprising us with new things he can do or new words he can say. I swear I put him to bed one evening last week and when he woke up in the morning I tried to put him into three different outfits that did not fit anymore. That is not a problem for this momma though because shopping for children’s clothing might be my most favorite thing to do. If you are in the market for some deals, check Target or Kohls regularly as I have stumbled upon some big savings. The deals are so good that it doesn’t even make it worth going to a second hand store anymore. The apps are so hand as I can quickly scroll through look at the sales and if nothing grabs my eye move on. I have found if I go in person I spend so much more which is always fun, but not so much on the budget. In saying all of that, we have a happy, bright and loving 17 month old to celebrate this month with!

On the 14th, I celebrated Valentines Day with my hubby at the restaurant where our blind date relationship started. We had a great time with delicious food and of course I had a handsome man to keep me company.

Our January and February days have been filled with friendships which has been great for the soul! Life gets busy and you find yourself sending a text or a random phone call to check in, but taking the time to actually sit down and chat with friends face to face has been delightful.
